Since 2018, the OTTO Group has let online merchants sell their products on the OTTO Marketplace. OTTO Market is now one of Germany’s leading marketplaces — it generated around €6.3 billion in 2022. If you want a slice of that pie, we’ll show you how to automate your shipping with an OTTO Fulfillment provider and outsource it to the right partner in line with OTTO’s requirements.

Plugging OTTO into our Zenfulfillment Operating System is plug-and-play, just a few clicks. We already ship for many OTTO sellers and know exactly what the platform requires. There are three steps:

Sign up with Zenfulfillment for free and get access to your dashboard. From there, you can connect OTTO. Every item you list on OTTO — including SKUs, EANs, and weights — gets synced over. As soon as an order comes in, it lands in our system and ships as fast as possible.

Your inbound shipments are stored within a few business days and are ready to ship from that point on. You always have a live view of order status. We also sync stock to OTTO in real time so you don’t oversell. Bad addresses are caught immediately and you get the chance to correct them. Finally, tracking information and the return number (an OTTO-specific requirement) are transmitted automatically — more on that in the next step.

To sell on OTTO, you must send a return number alongside the outbound tracking. Today, only DHL supports this technically. DHL Digital Return auto-generates a return number so your customer can create a return label directly through the OTTO portal.
Once the return reaches us, it’s processed within 48 hours. You can see the status of every return in your Zenfulfillment account. Your OTTO fulfillment provider supports you across the whole process.
